Idalya's Fund to Fight Cancer

I hope that everyone will take a few minutes of their time to visit Idalya's Fund to Fight Cancer on Facebook. Idalya is just a sweet little girl who is fighting a big war, and she is truly one of my little heroes. Right now I have nominated her for TG Bears "Person of the Month" contest. So please take just a minute and vote for her so she can have her very own bear to cuddle through the hard times, whether it be in the hospital, at the doctor's office, or just at home when she gets ready for bed.

Suave Rosemary Mint Shampoo & Conditioner Review

Suave is not a brand that you'll usually see me buy. It's VERY cheap (We're talking $1.99-$3.00 depending on your location). When I see very cheap products, I think of bad results such as dried out and damaged hair, awful aromas, and conditioners that don't condition. Well, I've been proved VERY wrong by Suave! I'm not going to do a whole "How to Use" section, because shampooing and conditioning is a no-brainer. But I will tell you that this stuff will blow your mind.

Bella Il Fiore - Lip Lovely Set Review

Bella Il Fiore is a smaller makeup company that has been featured in magazines such as Shape, and you can find their products in some privately owned stores. Their "About Us" section states:
"What do you get when a former beauty and bath product junkie becomes fed up with the massive amounts of unused products in her drawer? The answer is Bella Il Fiore, a creative and wearable line that simplifies your daily routine to a few key items while maintaining glamorous effects."

John Frieda Sheer Blonde® Highlight Activating Enhancing Conditioner

Are you a swimmer? Used a lot of products in your hair? Is your blonde hair getting an ash green tint, or just loosing all of it's luster? John Frieda has come out with a new line of products to fix that problem, and one product in particular stood out to me! The Sheer Blonde®Highlight Activating Enhancing Conditioner with Honey and Oatmeal for lighter shades of blonde.

I went through a hair color frenzy, when I finally settled on the color of platinum blonde. So I bleached my hair, added the platinum blonde dye, and what happened? My hair turned GREEN! I looked like I soaked my hair in a chlorine pool for days... and I looked awful. I tried stripping my hair, which only damaged it more, leaving my hair dry and feeling like it's ready to fall out.

I also tried lemon juice, baking soda scrub, apple cider vinegar... I could go on for hours. But I'm sure you could imagine what my hair looked and felt like - green and crusty. So I go to my local CVS Pharmacy looking for anything I can find to fix my look. Just as I'm giving up and walking out the door, I see the gold bottles on the shelf. I figured "Why not give it a try... You can't hurt anything now!"

I decided not to get the shampoo because my hair was already so dry... I wouldn't need shampoo for a few days or close to a week! I opened the bottle and I was graced by the sweet smell of the shampoo... smells better than Pantene or Herbal Essences! You can use as much as you need of the product, smooth it through your hair and let it sit if you wish or simply wash it off right away.

I decided to let the conditioner sit for a good ten minutes, realizing how replenishing the product really is. By just holding it in your hand you can feel the revitalising oils and it's moisturizing properties. After washing out the conditioner and rinsing with cold water, I felt like my my hair had been "un-done". Like all the damage was completely gone! And what's better? The green was gone and highlights were already extremely visible on the first use!

I give this product 5 stars! A must-buy for any shade of blonde, and good for your hair too!
